No-one plans to need to seek support, sometimes things just don’t go the way we planned. When Australian pharmacists, pharmacy interns or students need help the volunteers from the Pharmacists’ Support Service (PSS) are there on the other end of the phone.

Over the last 20 years the PSS volunteers have given over 120,000 hours of their time. You never know when YOU or someone close to you may need to ring PSS. For volunteers to provide this service an infrastructure is needed. The main costs incurred by PSS include telephone expenses, training of the volunteer team, insurance, part-time staff and administration. Though PSS is very appreciative of the ongoing support of the pharmacy organisations listed below but funds are always needed.
